Ambassador Ensher was in Ghardaia, Ouargla, and Hassi Messaoud from January 23-26. TheAmbassador was welcomed by the Walis of both Ghardaia and Ouargla. During his stay inGhardaia, he visited the old city, mosque, and the famous carpet souk. In Ouargla, he attended an Access School graduation ceremony and the inauguration ceremony for the new University Career Center. Finally, in Hassi Messaoud, the Ambassador toured American oil companies’ facilities and discussed corporate social responsibility with U.S. firms.
